Is Retriever free?

Yes. The free plan includes 1 tracked send a month (by email or client link), unlimited PDF sharing, unlimited drafts, clients and items, client signing, deposits, expenses, reports and the tax summary. Pro ($4.99/month or $39.99/year) adds unlimited tracked sends (fair use 300 a month), job photos, AI receipt scanning and removes the Retriever footer. Every new account starts with 14 days of Pro free, with no card; when it ends you are on Free unless you subscribe.

Does it work without signal?

Yes. You can create, edit and present documents offline. Sending and syncing happen automatically when you are back online.

Do payment confirmations count toward my sends?

No. Payment confirmations never count, and they only go out when you choose to send one. Sharing a PDF never counts either. Resending the same estimate to the same client is also free; a changed document counts as a new send.

Does Retriever take payments?

No. It records payments your clients make to you (cash, check, card, transfer) and, if you choose, emails them a confirmation. It never processes or holds money.

How do my clients sign?

In person on your phone, or online: every sent document has a private link where the client can view, accept and sign without an account.

How do I cancel Pro?

On your iPhone open Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Retriever. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

I got a new phone. How do I restore my purchase?

How do I delete my account?

In the app open More › Account › Delete account. This permanently erases all your data on our servers and disables your customer links. It does not cancel an App Store subscription.
